Jessa and Donnie met in High School and became friends their senior year. After a long talk in her driveway one afternoon the two realized how easy it was to talk to to one another and how much they wanted to get to know each other more. A few more long talks and a lot of messages on Myspace later, Donnie called Jessa and asked her on a date to a movie they both wanted to see. Their first date was December 26th, 2007. They went to the movie and both agreed it was an awful first date movie. They didn't let it kill the mood, and they shared their first kiss on the top of the Lodi parking garage. Since their first kiss, they have been together ever since. From high school, to college, to establishing their teaching careers, they have supported and loved one another. Donnie proposed on their 7 year anniversary and Jessa happily said “Yes”. They look forward to their future years as husband and wife!
